Avoid permanent dyes in the beginning as you may make mistakes at first. For your 2nd try, you can go for permanent hair dyes comfortably.

4. Wear a towel around your shoulders before you color your hair

Before you dye your hair, put a towel around your shoulders, covering your neck. This will prevent the colors staining your clothes and neck. Choose a dark colored towel, so that it is easy to hide the stains.
